WELCOME to
the WEBSITE of the
Oxford
& Cambridge Golfing Society

This
website is only available to members of the society.
The Oxford and Cambridge Golfing Society, founded in 1898, is the oldest golfing society in the world. Known simply as The Society, its 700 members are mostly those who have gained their blue by taking part in the annual university match.
Golf is a game for all ages and The Society enables players from different generations to meet and compete either in matches against clubs (about 35 each year) or in the President's Putter at Rye (a match play competition held every January). The preferred format is foursomes and the motto is 'serious fun'.
Note
that all entries to the Website will be recorded.
